ANZSN With Children

We understand conference attendance is an important part of your professional career and the 54th Australian and New Zealand Society of Nephrology committee fully supports the needs of working and professional parents. Parents with small children and infants are welcome to bring them along to the ASM as required to facilitate the attendance of our members from all stages in life.

The International Convention Centre has several facilities available for use during the conference including a parenting room located in the Main Foyer (level 2) and Baby Change tables are located on level 4 and 6. Each Parenting room has a feeding area, change table and food preparation area with a microwave, sink and hand towels.

The meeting Gala Dinner will be held on the evening of Tuesday 10 September. Delegates are more than welcome to bring children along with them. Please be aware it is a formal dinner with speeches and entertainment and may be a little loud. Infants in prams (no seat or meal required) at no cost; though we recommend you arrive early and secure a table on the outside. Children/teenagers (seat and meal required) $55 per head. Please contact the secretariat to book.
