INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS

International flights fly directly into Sydney Airport from many global hubs. Sydney Airport is located just 8km from the Sydney CBD which is an easy 20 minute taxi or train ride to the city centre.

All Sydney Airport international flights depart and arrive from Terminal 1.

Getting to ACCOR Stadium

Located only 30 mins from Sydney CBD & 15 mins from Parramatta. ACCOR Stadium has ample public transport and parking options, making it seamless and convenient for guests.

TRAIN

The closest train station to ACCOR Stadium is Olympic Park. ACCOR Stadium is a short 5 minute walk from the station.

Catch a train from Lidcombe Station direct to Olympic Park, operating every 10 to 20 minutes on weekdays and every 10 minutes during events.

BUS

Sydney Buses operates a number of services to Sydney Olympic Park including:

  • Route 525 runs between Parramatta and Strathfield via Sydney Olympic Park.
  • Route 526 runs from Rhodes to Burwood via Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf
  • Route 533 runs from Sydney Olympic Park to Chatswood via Rhodes and North Ryde

TAXI/RIDESHARE

A taxi rank is located near the Novotel hotel on Olympic Boulevard in Sydney Olympic Park, walking distance from ACCOR Stadium.

If arriving via rideshare, you can get dropped off and picked up on Dawn Fraser Ave.

CAR

Casual parking is available at P1 Car Park for $6 per hour or $30 per day (maximum). P1 Car Park is conveniently located directly across from ACCOR Stadium. Pre-booked car spaces is highly recommended and simple to do online.

TAXI & RIDESHARE INFO

Ride share pick-ups are now available at Sydney Airport. You can request a ride from your preferred app and get picked up from either the domestic or international terminals. For the domestic terminal, this is the Priority Pick-up Zone. For the international terminal, this is the Express Pick-up zone. Use the Uber Fare Estimator to get estimated prices, Ola also provides rideshare services to and from Sydney Airport.

Each terminal has its own sheltered taxi rank with supervisors on hand during peak times to ensure a smooth flow of taxis for travellers. An estimated fare from the Sydney Airport to the city costs $45-55.

BUSES, TRAINS AND RENTAL VEHICLES

Sydney Airport is located just 13 minutes by train from the city. Airport Link offers a fast and convenient way to reach the city and suburbs, with trains running approximately every 10 minutes. The station is located at the northern end of the terminal and accessible from the Arrivals level. To use this service, you can either purchase an Opal Card from the station or tap on with your Amex, Visa or Mastercard. For more information visit the Transport NSW Trip Planner.

Sydney Buses operates a timetabled service, Route 400, between Bondi Junction and Eastgardens via Sydney Airport and 420 between Eastgardens to Burwood via Sydney Airport. The service stops at both the T1 International and T3 Domestic terminals. You will find clearly marked bus stops located on the arrivals level outside each of these terminals. You’ll need an Opal transport card to use the service.

Local Attractions

Manly

Manly Beach is one of Australia’s most famous surfing beaches – With a tree-lined promenade and a long stretch of fine soft sand, the beach is a popular destination for backpackers and families. For a delightful day out, take a ferry at Circular Quay, near the Sydney Opera House, for a 30-minute trip across Sydney Harbour to Manly Wharf.

The Rocks Markets

What makes a great market? If it’s about passionate people selling things you’ll love in a cool, relaxed environment then The Rocks Markets is one of Sydney’s greatest. The Rocks is nestled on the doorstep of the CBD, but it’s slower and infinitely more charming.<br />

Sydney Opera House

The Sydney Opera House is a multi-venue performing arts centre at Sydney Harbour, it is a one of the 20th century’s most famous and distinctive buildings. The Sydney Opera House is one of the world’s most creative and busiest arts centres, featuring world-leading performances and events.

Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb

The Sydney Harbour Bridge is one of Australia’s most well known and photographed landmarks. It is the world’s largest steel arch bridge standing 134 metres above the harbour. Taronga Zoo

Taronga Zoo is a great destination to see native wildlife and rare exotic animals. You can even camp the night at the zoo on the Roar and Snore tour.<br />

The Sydney Tower Eye

For a breathtaking experience high above the city centre, step onto the Skywalk glass-floor viewing platform at the Sydney Tower Eye. You’ll be 268 metres above Sydney’s streets and have 360-degree views of the city and its beautiful attractions.<br />

The Royal Botanic Garden

The Royal Botanic Garden is a tranquil oasis on the edge of one of the world’s great natural harbours. Wildlife in the garden includes colourful birds, fruit bats and water dragons. The Calyx is a world-class horticultural space, with changing exhibitions designed to capture your imagination.

Bondi Beach

Watch a glorious sunrise at world-famous Bondi Beach before an invigorating swim in the turquoise waters or a stroll along the white sands. Roll out a beach towel and relax on the fine sands while enjoying spectacular views of the vast Pacific Ocean. You can also learn to surf at an accredited surf school.<br />
