Roger Evans

Adjunct Professor, Department of Physiology, Monash University

Roger Evans is a member of the Cardiovascular Disease Program of the Biomedicine Discovery Institute and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Physiology, Monash University (Melbourne, Australia). Roger’s major interest is the physiology of renal oxygenation and the role of hypoxia in kidney injury and disease. This work is multidisciplinary, involving collaboration between experimental physiologists, computational modelers and clinical researchers. Roger was Editor-in-Chief of Clinical and Experimental Pharmacology and Physiology (2005-2013) and an Associate Editor of American Journal of Physiology – Regulatory Integrative and Comparative Physiology (2013-2020).
